Before you draw any large conclusions about the equivalence of DUMMY and
DSN=NULLFILE from your invesatigations, let me strongly suggest that you
separate the JCL parse and its associated error messages from what happens
afterwards. You are drawing conclusions from epiphenomena.
In the matter of my being beaten up, I think you should try.
