Readers of the list would welcome being enlightened by your sharing
the experiment you did to demonstrate the difference.  I have
lately posted two experimental results, one of which, granted,
clearly dealt with "the JCL parse and its associated error messages";
the other equally clearly with "what happens afterwards."  Each
directly contradicts what you inferred from the JCL UG.
