In looking closer at these 2 PDS's, yes there are duplicate names.  There
are 145 of them.
No alias, but my first reaction was "so what".  I don't normally
concatenate PDS's when
I do scans, I normally scan 1 at a time.  In looking at the manual, I see
that there is
an option called SDUPM (Scan duplicate members).  Never heard of it.

Anyway, ran scan again adding SDUPM option, it scanned all 1707 !!!

I guess you learn something every day.
