I don't know if this is related or not, but we converted from OS/390 2.10 to z/OS 1.4, this past weekend.
We did not convert COBOL or LE. According to a developer, an extra four bytes (for blocksize) is added to the data for RECORDING MODE IS U. Has anybody every heard of this?
