National SECURITY Agency ?
Nevermind, IMHO word 'security' in the name is very bad reason to wear a
gun. Security as the need sounds better.
BTW: Let's assume the following "Hollywood" scenario: ... many of the
killed policemen in U.S. were
killed by their own guns.

I didn't mean to seem as if I were defending their policy or their raison
d'ĂȘtre. I am merely reporting on one policy of theirs. They are concerned
about more aspects of security than just their many acres of computers,
obviously. That's why their facility is located in the middle of a large U.S.
Army
base. Their armed guards are all active duty military personnel, and they
fully understand their own personal expendability. Hollywood scenarios and
other arguments against their policy will have more effect if they are sent
directly to the NSA's Acting Director William B. Black, Jr.
