Hello, I'm seeing on tape on msg some media types after dsname that I can't find the meaning exactly. Example: IEC705I TAPE ON 3124,G75147,SL,COMP,EMM006XX,IKJEFT01.PPPP1000,PCCCCCC.FFFFFF.EMH006XX,MEDIA 0 IEC705I TAPE ON 3124,G76128,SL,COMP,EMH006XX,IKJEFT01.PPPP1000,PCCCCCC.FFFFFF.EMH006XX,MEDIA 1 On this case there 2 types of media for the same dataset. The closest thing that I think of is: "MEDIA1=xxxx xxxx specifies a 2-byte hexadecimal value to be used as the 3490 standard capacity (CST) scratch category code. MEDIA2=xxxx xxxx specifies a 2-byte hexadecimal value to be used as the 3490 enhanced capacity (ECST) scratch category code."
However there's no MEDIA0. Can anyone give me an hint ?? Many thx, Antonio Cecilio ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
