Its great for finding stuff. Not just in PDF docucuments, but also in Word docs, text files, Excel spreadsheets, etc. It works for local hard drives on the PC as well as LAN drives, which Google's equivalent doesn't do. It takes a little while to index your data first-up, but its very quick to find keywords in documents. You can also use it to search emails, web pages, etc, but I haven't used it for that. Its free and you can get it from http://www.copernic.com/en/products/desktop-search/ Cheers, Fred Schmidt ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
