Actually the proposal that's being rejected is for the Powderhorns
9310's.  We are looking at possibly using the 9740's as Bruce from FDR has
said they have.  These are much shorter then the 9310's.  Bruce my
question to you is the 9740's that you use are any of them used to house
backend drives for an STK VSM?

I see that the 9310s and the 8500s are all over 7 feet tall, according to the specs on the STK site. The 9740 is speced at 6 ft, which matches ours.

Sorry, we don't use STK VSM. However, the tape drives are the same in all of the STK libraries, only the library mechanism differs, so I would expect it to work
