I suggest people that want this start opening lots of PMRs and
submitting lots of formal requirements.   This is going to take work
from both Tn3270 development and VTAM development (because
they own the macros).   VTAM development is spread VERY thin
now so this is going to have to be seen as really important to 
customers by management.
