Linux runs separately from z/OS. It is an operating system in its own right,
like z/OS, z/VSE, or z/VM. It runs either in a separate LPAR or, under z/VM, as
a separate guest. z/OS has a UNIX subsystem, but it is not Linux in any form or
fashon!
