I would consider not using it; ML1 and perhaps a deletion strategy. Disk
is cheap (even when it is duplicated/mirrored).
(I don't know if I could get away with making ML2 obsolete but I'd give it
a shot. If it flies, terrific. If you're stuck with it, I'd get a VTS (or
equivalent) and mirror that either at the same sites as the DASD or at 2
different sites, giving the business 4 chances to win under extreme
catastrophic conditions.)
