Hello,

I'm looking after some informations about the time a Job could spend in some
JES2 Queues before Processing (Conversion & Execution) thanks to SMF30-5
records.

Example with a Job (Data from SMF30-5) :
- Timestamp Time (SMF30RST) : 11:02:06
- Start Time (SMF30SIT) : 11:09:19

==> So we got (11:09:19 - 11:02:06) 00:07:13 between Reader Time and
Beginning of the Processing

SMF30-5 gives the following complementary values :
- Waiting Time for an Init (SMF30SQT) : 00:00:45
- Preparation Time (SMF30JQT) : 00:00:00
- Ineligible Time 1 (SMF30RQT) : 00:00:00
- Ineligible Time 2 (SMF30HQT) : 00:00:00
==> Total : 00:00:45

And the JESMSGL card of this job is :

                       J E S 2  J O B  L O G  --  S Y S T E M  xxxx

11.08.15 JOB94550 ---- TUESDAY,   01 JUN 2010 ----
11.08.15 JOB94550 IRR010I USERID xxxxxx IS ASSIGNED TO THIS JOB.
11.09.19 JOB94550  ICH70001I xxxxxx   LAST ACCESS AT 11:09:17 ON
TUESDAY
11.09.19 JOB94550  $HASP373 jjjjjjjj STARTED - INIT iii  - CLASS c - SYS
11.09.19 JOB94550  IEF403I jjjjjjjj - STARTED - TIME=11.09.19

Where we could see the Start Time (11:09:19) but what is the meaning of the
11:08:15 time ? Is it the "arrival" of this Job in the Execution Queue ?
And, over all, where are spent the (00:07:13 - 00:00:45) 00:06:28 time ?

Knowing that we see some cases where Waiting Time is larger than
(SMF30SIT-SMF30RST), I'm a little bit troubled !

Hope you could help me !

Best regards,
