The retirement for ETR isn't till March 26, 2011 so for now you can use either.

O None of our users have been able to complete the registration process for SR
without assistance from IBM support despite being credentialed and working in
IBMLink

O Output functions to email copy of PMR's, APARs, and other items including was
removed. ETR allowed you to do this in one request for all the PMR's for your
account. SR support says they will consider this as an enhancement. We used
this to archive a monthly copy of all PMR's from our site indexed and
searchable over years it has been a very useful knowledge repository. The
print and export functions in SR don't provide the key ability to dump all
PMR's for archive in one operation. The ability to email PMR's and APAR's as
text attachments from IBMLink has been very useful to us and the ability to
send contents of a whole list of items more so. I am frustrated to see it not
built into SR before cutting over ETR.

"Unfortunately, the option to send the content of PMRs as email does not
exist now in SR. This issue has been already addressed to our product
management team as a suggestion for SR enhancement. We apologize for
this inconvenience."

I don't know what else is missing but we will find out as we start working with
it more.

Subject: IBM Service Request Issue

Has anyone been able to go directly back to an IBM SR search results list once
you have selected an entry to view? I am finding that I have to go back to the
main Service Link panel and start my search all over again once I select one
entry to view.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon
