Unless of course you don't. I contributed a solution to the cbt which I use constantly. Resolves systems symbols in JCL so I can use sysname, date and time (for example) for tersed dumps, GRS monitor reports, trace and SMF extracts, ... whatever. *very* handy - but as has been discussed here no end, there are exposures if improperly used. caveat emptor.
