zMan on 15 June told about two clueless CS PhD's. A few years ago, my friend an I were getting a lot of chuckles out the cluelessness of a CS textbook, but we were reduced to uncontrollable laughter when the author showed an example of doing a payroll using an array, and concluded the exercise with the statement: "Of course, in the real world a file might consist of hundreds of records."
