Usually, when I type 'E' on the left side of member name in ISPF to enter an edit session,I can issue 'hilite on' in command field to invoke syntax hilight and it always works. However,if in this session I type 'edit defaix'('defaix' is another member of the same PDS),I goes into a new edit session for member 'defaix'. In this session, syntax hilight just can't work.If I issue 'hilite on',it gives me a message 'HILITE unavailable'. This problem hasn't been solved on our site for almost a year.Today I write a REXX to invoke an edit session directly in ISPF using its library service 'ISPEXEC EDIT...' and in this session syntax hilight doesn't work either. But few minutes ago I connected to another site and was suprised to find that on that site there is no such problem. So I think it's the configuration which makes the difference. Maybe someone knows? Thanks. -- Best Regards, Johnny Luo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
