Paul Gilmartin's implicit question is a very good one. Unless, improbably, it
has been explicitly marked NE the Binder can itself create NCAL program objects
or load modules for each of the component CSECTs|RSECTs of an executable
(compound) program object or load module; and these NCAL load modules or
program objects can be inputs to the Binder for inclusion in another
executable.
There is no situation in which the Binder requires that an input be an object
module rather than corresponding NCAL load module or program object; they are
indeed processed more efficiently by the Binder than are object modules.
I hope that you have no notion of modifying object modules; but if you do,
don't do it.
