See Chapter 13 in the installation manual. Some modules are required to
be in the MVS Link Pack Area, and in this case, always load the latest
version's modules. They are downward compatible.

Subject: Running two versions of CICS on the same system

Hi,

We currently run CICS TS v1.3 in production and have started to install
CICS TS v3.1.

CICS uses an SVC and is also defined as a subsystem.

Telling CICS which SVC to use is simple.

How can I have two versions of the subsystem code DFHSSIN running?
Do I need to have two versions, or can I use one version of DFHSSIN (the
new one or the old one),

TIA

Gadi
