However, have you tried using an IFASMFDP step to peel the record types from the dates you want, and then sort them for input to RMF prior to the post processor step? As inexplicable as it is, this has worked for me in the past when I hit wacky RMF PP date/time range problems. I just use the IFASMFDP to limit the date/time range, and then RMF PP "pick up everything it can" from the input data.
