We are planning on moving our DFHSM ML2 volumes from our manual 3490E
tapes to a virtual library (3494-B10). The simpliest way that I can
think of is to do this is to just issue HSEND RECYCLE VOLUME(......)
EXECUTE commands. Unfortunately, these seem to single thread. Somebody
here said that multiple concurrent recycles could be done if multiple
RACF ids issued the HSEND commands. Is there some way to have a single
batch job (or series of batch jobs actually) issue RECYCLE commands and
have those commands run concurrently (up to MAXRECYCLETASKS)? Right now,
I have MAXRECYCLETASKS equal to 4.

Note - I know that we cannot use these ML2 tapes in a D.R. scenario. We
have a product which is supposed to "stack" multiple virtual 3490E
volumes onto a single 3592J volume, then "unstack" at the disaster site.
It also issues some DFHSM commands (TAPEREPL) to then use the just
created virtual 3490E tapes in DFHSM. At least, as I understand it. This
note is irrelevant to my actual question and is included only for
informational purposes.
