1) Anyone who has a session manager that supports scripting can use it to
test any VTAM application. But I thought the tests were to be run on a
Web interface. One would think for this a solution should "sign on" as a
browser.

2) As an aside, when I was a developer for Duquesne Systems' (then
Legent's now CA's) TPX I developed a fully automated method of testing the
product with itself using its scripting facility. There were scripts to
use the admin facility to set up the userids needed to run the test.

(It also stressed VTAM well enough that the NetSpy people used it for
stress tests of a network and for generating alerts.)

3) One way to decrease the script maintenance issue is to navigate the
"screen" using tabs between fields rather than absolute screen positions.
