The following scenario: Some tape volumes are in status PENDING RELEASE. All of the volumes are SHELF volumes (exist outside library). All of them have the same owner. All of them have release actions:
Return to SCRATCH pool . : YES Initialize volume . . . : YES Erase volume . . . . . . : YES (other entires has value of NO) I have a list of the volsers. I want to remove those tapes from RMM. I tried several RMM commands, no effect. I didn't try RMM DV xxxxx FORCE. Q: Is there any other (less brutal) method ?
