What does it mean that it "handles PDS's well"?  All I can think of is
that it has facilities to rename according to pattern in MGET and MPUT.
Or might it preserve the ISPF directory statistics?

Actually, I can think of one more thing: a facility to spoof the
protol for transferring load modules so it might do store-and-
forward from mainframe to PC to mainframe.  It was myopic design
for z/OS load module FTP not to account for the need for store-
and-forward.

TSO TRANSMIT is not a solution because:

o It requires a TSO account on both mainframes.

o It isn't automated by the FTP server.
