We have a problem when we want add volumes to storage group.
When we want add many volumes (for example, 256) in a storage group from
ispf primary menu + storage group + volume + define (is it possible do it
in a batch JCL this operation?), the operation cancels with SMS RETURN
CODE 16 and it generates a huge dump that it fulls the spool.
This abend is provocated by a S878 system code (storage problem) with
RETURN CODE 8 & REASON CODE 20021.
We have increased the userid max region size from 7 mb to 2 gb and then we
haven't no problems, but we believe that this way isn't the solution.
We are trying to find any track in ibm web but at the moment we haven't
been lucky.
