IMHO it is quite common, that production environment runs not on the
newest version available. It is a matter of migration, quality, etc.
It is also quite obvious the IMS is dying in some sense.
Yeah, it's fast, it's reliable ...like TPF.
Have you heard about new mainframe customer lately ? Maybe. Have you
heard about new IMS customer ? I doubt. Have you heard about new
software project based on IMS ?
