The authorized assembler services guide, in the chapter on SWAREQ, states
that to invoke SWAREQ for other than the current job, pass the QMPA address
from the JSCB of whatever job you are interested in. I am obtaining that
address, and placing it in SWQMPA prior to invoking SWAREQ. I'm getting return
code 8 , or abend 0B0, reason code 8 depending upon whether I specify
UNAUTH=YES or let it deafult. Both the return code and the abend code state
the SVA supplied is invalid. The SVA value is straight out of the TIOT in the
address space of interest. It seems there has to be something other than just
specifying the QMPA address, as that address is in the private area, so how
would the code know which address space to look at? Has anyone gotten this
thing to work for other than the current address space?
