Hi Bob .. thanks for all your help .. actually .. we would use the full volume dumps from sunday night to recover all volumes then recover * tovolume(volser) unit(3390) to apply the incrementals. We figured out that the Auto Backup parameter in the Storage group left in inactive and the Backup parameter in the Management class set to "Y" will give us the ability to run scheduled incrementals of the packs we want.. sorry to be such a bother .. but I think this will work for us .. I have tested recover to see how long the incremental recovery would take after the full volumes have been restored and it is quite fast. thanks for your help .
