Get the IBM TOOL VVDS Fix Catalog. Here is the location:

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&q1=catalog+utility&uid=ssg
1S4000032&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&cc=us&lang=en

It worked for me when I had some bad entries.

Hope this helps.

Thank You

How extreme do you want to go to get rid of this thing? If you are
100% positively, absolutely sure it isn't sitting in a BCS somewhere on
your system, move everything else off the pack and initialize it.

Hey, I didn't say it would be a convenient, clean, above-board way, but
it will get rid of the dataset!

I don't know what the ramifications are since the system thinks it is a
usercatalog right now.

Rex

Export disconnect does not work.. the message says catalog not
available .. since it isnt really a catalog .. I have tried noscr purge,
force .. you name it .. also the Delete dataset with vvr for the acutal
dataset fails as well ..
