Yes, and you may not be able to do this via your emulator's configuration panel. If this is not possible directly through your emulator interface then find the configuration file for the specific emulator session that you are using and edit that directly. For instance I use IBM's PC3270 and edit the *.WS config file to have a 60x132 display which is great for debugging with listings. I suspect you could do something similar with most emulators that have text mode config files. Again for PC3270 you'll have a section that looks something like my .WS config file as follows:
