I use EXTRA! X-treme... company standard...
If you're using EXTRA! version 8.0, make sure Service Pack 1 is installed.
This free download is available by going to the following web site and

If you don't have Service Pack 1 installed, you won't be able to configure
your mouse to select point-and-shoot fields. I know you're in the process of
installing SimpList, and that product uses point-and-shoot fields
extensively. If you can't select point-and-shoot fields with your mouse,
then you won't be able to 'surf the mainframe'.
The next release of EXTRA! (which I think they're going to call version 9.0)
will automatically include the enhancements contained in Service Pack 1.
This means going forward it will be much easier for Extra! customers to
configure their mouse for point-and-shoot support.
