<snip> I don't know about a root kit, but I do know that a virus was written and proven to work. It seems that the loader apparently does not check the SSI information... Thankfully that particular item was contained in the "lab" where it was done and to my knowledge was never further operated. It was only done to see how difficult it would be to do such on a S/370 based system.
