No, but he may have.  If he did, he did not say that he did.   He asked how 
one would do something that only an authorized program can  do.  He told us 
nothing about his knowing how to become authorized or  whether he was 
authorized 
(pun intended) to authorize a program.  He  asked for a code sample.  Any such 
code sample offered will not work  unless it runs authorized.
 
He does not need to get into supervisor state to do what he asked how to  do, 
but he does need to get into protect key 0.  Of course, being in  supervisor 
state means you are only one easy instruction away from also  being in key 0.
