Test it.   Define an alias of A.B.C to data set A.B  Run a job with
DISP=OLD for data set A.B.C on system A.  On system B run a job with
DISP=SHR pointing to data set A.B.  I'm not a betting man, but I'm
pretty sure the job on system B will be waiting on a reserved name.
I haven't tested it yet either, but you can bet that I will in 
the morning.  :-)
