OA17477 is now available as a ++APAR from ftp://testcase.boulder.ibm.com/mvs/fromibm/aa17477.hte7709 for anyone that's interested. It removes the "51 rows or less" restriction on 80-column primary screen size for terminals that wish to logon to TSO/E.
