Hmmm. Yeah. The BROWSE function has slightly different spacing. (Why??)
It's never bothered me before. However, I agree this provides a
rationale for a screen width of 136 columns -- which will still be
considerably easier to read than 160.
I use 142. You need 141 to see all columns of lrecl=133 output
with edit because of the editor sequence numbers. 141 does work
with ISPF, but not with REVIEW (REVEDIT) as it only supports an
even number.
I'm convinced. Am now running with 142 columns and *loving* it!
