Bob, Unfortunately not. We have NO tools here at all. I installed CR+ at a previous site and was well smitten by it (and esp. VSAM Manager which I found to be brilliant). I'm starting to look at the VSAM definitions but a straight REPRO would be sequential and if the def's were wrong, I would expect far more EXCP's.
Kees (I'm multitasking), We're running Zos 1.6 with WLM dynamically allocating the PAV's. If I can't spot anything in the VSAM def (the file is deleted at the end of job so can only look at the definitions) I'd have to revert to my initial theories, either WLM gone garrity or possibly a director problem. Only 1 other device showed delays approaching this and it's on a different ssid. No enq's, no contention, no IOSQ, no high activity rates (see 1st post), no nothing. Muy Abnormal? I'm still churning through the paperwork.
