Seriously - there is nothing wrong with a vendor having undocumented
features or parameters etc.  as long as they don't intend for customers
to use them on a regular basis or without the direction of their
support.  I don't know where this example fits in.  

I know everytime I've run into a problem with Syncsort in the
last 15 years, they've always given me an undocumented parm to use
for a work around.  I'm glad they coded their software that way.
