Whenever I try a "non-standard" default screensize, I am unable to log
on to TSO or Netview Access. TSO "ignores without comment" my password
on the TSO/E Logon Panel, and Netview Access produces message "EMS1010A
Enter your user ID." despite my having entered userID and password on
its logon panel. Don't know if we're back-level on z/OS maintenance or
our terminal emulator is defective, but the emulator happily allows
defining arbitrary screensizes for both default and alternate. One
other anomaly I notice is that the VTAM USSMSG10 screen *always*
displays in 24x80, regardless what default screensize I specify in the
emulator.
