I have some DB2-product ("DBS") HFS files that were built on an
SMS-managed volume last year when we were still under OS/390-2.10. The
DBA who installed the product and built the files is no longer here.
We are currently on z/OS-1.6 and our system OMVS HFS files are not SMS
managed.
Could I use DFDSS to move the DBS files (that are currently SMS-managed)
to a non-SMS volume (removing them from SMS management) with no harm to
the file access?
