Thanks to Volkmar and Jon - MAXASSIZE was indeed the offending parameter. The manuals seem to differ in their description of the default. Init and Tuning says its 209,715,200, System Commands says its 41,943,040 ( which is what we had it set to in BPXPRM00 ) I set it to the other default and the process now works ok

MAXASSIZE parameter in BPXPRMxx parmlib member Greetings, Volkmar -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag von Beesley, Paul Gesendet: Dienstag, 12.
