We need to migrate offloaded TN3270 server sessions from ESCON connected Cisco CPA (Channel Port Adapter) devices. I am not aware of an IBM option for this since the 3172 went away. From the research I have done, it looks like Visara has a good option with their 1174 comm. server line. The other products I have seen involve a gateway PC with Unix/Linux or Windows running MS-HIS or some other software product. I am leaning towards Visara at this time. Does anyone know of other options or have any recommendations?
