I can't answere your sepcific question, but does it need to be
offloaded? If you have an OSA adapter, or some other TCP/IP
network interface, you can run the TN3270 server that comes with
TCP/IP. We generally have well over a thousand TN3270 connections
fully encrypted with SSL, and the overhead is small enough that
we don't notice it (I just checked, and TCP has used 31 min. of
CPU in the last 32 hours, and we have more than just TN3270 running).
This is on a z890 without crypto engines. Many shops have more
sessions than this.
