I use it because we sometimes have TN3270E consoles "back up" due to undeletable messages in RD mode. If any console gets more that 200 messages, automation does a K Q,L=consid to remove them. Changing the information would be OK as long as I know what the new message looks like. This is the problem endemic to "message scraping". As an aside, is there some better way to do this? I'm on z/OS 1.6, possibly going to 1.8 3Q. -- John McKown Senior Systems Programmer HealthMarkets Keeping the Promise of Affordable Coverage Administrative Services Group Information Technology The information contained in this e-mail message may be privileged and/or confidential.
