I use it because we sometimes have TN3270E consoles "back up" due to
undeletable messages in RD mode. If any console gets more that 200
messages, automation does a K Q,L=consid to remove them. Changing the
information would be OK as long as I know what the new message looks
like. This is the problem endemic to "message scraping".

As an aside, is there some better way to do this? I'm on z/OS 1.6,
possibly going to 1.8 3Q.
