And, of course for the really destitute ISV living out of his/her car,
10 years ago, faced with a sudden doubling of premises rent, we
brainstormed the idea of sticking the whole office into a 40 foot
container with a satellite dish on the back of a rig to be parked
wherever 'round town, staying in each location until we were moved
on. That plan morphed quickly into an 80 foot cruiser which would do
a circuit on the local bay every two days, allowing different staff
to live on board until the boat visited their dropoff/pickup point
again. And then we thought..
..but finally the beer ran out and next day we looked in the "Offices
For Rent" ads.
