Brian, I post my phone number for most of my posts. I have never to my knowledge had a crank call from posting it here. I think the only thing that gets harvested from a group like this is email addresses, which Darren has pretty well fixed. I have on occasion gotten calls from people on the list. I always enjoy talking to them.
By the way, I completely agree with your posting. It's much better to convert in one step than 2 or 3. I know when we went from MVS/ESA 4.3 - we went to OS/390 2.5.
