Well I haven't applied for too many jobs in the past, but when I applied
at CA last year, my interviewers either "knew" me from ibm-main, or did
some background research that included ibm-main. Evidently I passed the
test :-)

Unfortunately it is becoming more common for people's online personas to
collide with their real lives in unexpected ways - consider all of the
kids using YouTube without any thought to the fact that other people
(including potential employers) would see their beer-bust videos too.
Stupidity in cyberspace is forever. We sure live in interesting times
huh.
