Bottom line:  If you are just getting ready to roll out, make sure you
download current holddata and run SMP/E REPORT ERRORSYSMODS.
If you have a PE applied that you can back off - do so.  If you have a
PE that has a fixing PTF, APPLY it.  If you have a PE that you can't
back off and there is no fixing PTF, see if you can get a ++APAR fix.
If you can't do that, you have to decide if the problem could happen in
your
environment and think about delaying your roll out.

Mark, we download all available maintenance and holddata twice a week
and are on IBM problem notification list distributions. It didn't help
us for several of these problems. For a couple of them we were the first
installation to encounter the issue.
