Anton, A few questions, 1. How fragmented is your free work space? Defragging work work volumes might help. 2. Why are you not using SIZE=MAX as IBM recommends? 3. Why such a small region size? If you use Size=MAX and region=om, the job might still fail but you won't have to wait 2 hours.
