There is no legal precedent preventing someone from Bookmaking a website
in their web browser. IBM can ask that all they want but it is
completely unenforceable.

They were probably meaning that they didn't want other websites directly
linking to that page. Either that or they are planning to change the
URL soon and are saying that as a warning about the change.

Personally, bookmark what ever site you want, it is your business not
theirs. If a company or website doesn't like it, they probably need to
relax some.

Subject: How to fine IBMLINK

I know this is an on going issue, but I am confused.

IBM says to not bookmark the IBMLINK link. And yet to find IBMLINK on
the website is very confusing. You have to go to "SUPPORT & DOWNLOADS"
then go to the bottom and figure out which entry is IBMLINK.

Do you think IBM could put a link in that section called "IBMLINK" for
those of us who are more use to that nomenclature? Or is that also a
hopeless cause?
