Well, I missed it as well. My bank (which I won't name) also was offline
Sunday. All day, they said. I have no idea what platform the Internet
banking system runs on, but I assume it was PC. And that's why I didn't
think much about it :-)

Perhaps I was asleep earlier this week, but I do not recall seeing any
traffic about Wells Fargo's "mainframe" shutting itself down and causing
a nation-wide crash of it's network.

Anyone know what really happened?

There is a TON of traffic on the Phishing sites about how best to take
advantage of the situation. :(
